Big Brother Trent!!

There is nothing like becoming a big brother!! Helping mom with diapers and getting her dressed!! When she criys I try to make her feel better by singing her a made up song only I know. When I hold her I love to give her kisses and play with her cute feet. I can't wait until she can play with me. But mom keeps telling me she cant and I will have to wait until this fall. My little sister is getting all the attention but mom says she loves me lots and ensures me she has room for both of us. There is nothing like becoming a big brother.

I was a week over due and went in for a Ultra Sound on Thursday the 21st around 11:30 a.m. They were looking to see if the baby was making breathing motions. The Ultra sound looked great and revealed a 9 pound baby just waiting to come out into the world. So they sent me up stairs to be induced around 2:00p.m. They inserted a hormone suppository in my cervix which helps to dilate and bring on contractions. Mean while my husband called to let me know he is trying to get the roof situation under control so he can come. Whats the odds that Justin opens a roof the day I'm going to have a baby!! That's how it goes!! Gotta love them!! Well lets just say the suppository they put in my cervix worked great I started contractions every 3 minutes and they were nice and strong!! Justin finely got there around 4:00p.m. white as a ghost and very nevus, I think he went through couple tins of Copenhagen!! They checked me around 7:00p.m. and I was dilated to a 5 My mid-wife then asked me if I wanted to break my water and have more pain but get things going faster or just wait it our and not have pain till later. I just looked at Justin and then at my mid-wife. "Bring it on" Lets get the show on the road!! Both ways I was going to have to go thought the pain why wait!! So they broke my water around 9:30p.m. I sat in the birthing tub that they had in the room and then begun to realize why I really hated labor!! OK why do we always forget this part of having a baby!! Yes here I was laying in a warm tub of water with my Husband and my sister on both sides telling its going to be OK!! Yeah well it's not OK to tell a women in labor its going to be OK when your contractions are kicking your own butt!! I went from a 5 cm to fully dilated within a half an hour and was ready to push. I was taken outta the tub then put on the table only to find my self ready to push!! No one was ready for me. Every one was running around trying to get the room ready and I jumped up on the table grabbed my knees and begun to push!! My sister comes in after only steping out for a sec to make a phone call " I thought she was only dilated to a 6" my sister says. So I begun pushing with out everyone, around 11:52 pm I finely had Trinity out and ready to meet the family!! Big Brother Trent was the first to hold her and was given a t-shirt that said Big Brother on it!! Clarice said he never took it off all day!! Justin and I had a great hospital stay with great meals and a complimentry massage for me the next day!! We also had the Chance to go to dinner while they watched Trinity in the nursery!! The dinner was set up fancy with cloth napkins and a great meal that you couldn't resist cleaning your plate!!
